That’s a fairly crazy way to decarb flower. I received my unit not long ago. It is so so simple to use and truly does not allow any fumes into the apartment (a concern – living surrounded by rather stiff types of older people). So I’ve solved my issue of decarbing and now am on my second batch of tea. Many of us are not smokers, and even with the use of a vaporizer, vaping does not help if you have a bad throat (which I do). Great device. It works! It works so simply. Add your herb to the pot – put on the lid. Put on the exterior cap – wait for it to complete it’s cycle. Perfectly processed herb – and absolutely no smell in my tiny apartment – or the shared hallway (very important in my case). I mostly make tea – never was a smoker. So now I can make perfect tea, easily. Or make baked goods if I ever choose to do so. The initial cost is not cheap – but the results are well worth it, especially long term. Thanks So much Ardent.

My otherwise totally supportive spouse not only does not partake, but she absolutely cannot stand that “skunk” smell. Thank you Ardent – problem solved!! I use mine probably once or twice a week as I regularly process flower, kief, hash, rosin and/or hash oil (in a silicone container placed inside the aluminum cup) destined to go into either an oil infusion (I’ve tried coconut oil and olive oil so far) for making edibles or an eternal green dragon Everclear tincture that periodically gets “enhanced.” I also keep a jar of decarbed and ground indica handy at all times; a pinch added to some warmed applesauce makes for the best bedtime mighty-night medicine ever. I cannot imagine going a huge step backwards to oven decarbs that skunk the house up for hours! Get one – it WILL pay for itself and you WILL love it!

Not only is it easy and virtually foolproof, but our results spoke for themselves: better than 50% increase in THC extraction (we are lucky to have a testing lab right in our town)! I couldn’t be more pleased with my Ardent Decarboxylator. The ease of operation, and compact design make the process of decarbing super simple. In the past decarbing was quite the ordeal, as well as pretty wasteful. There is virtually no odor ( if your worried about that ), and cleanup is a snap. I did a simple non-scientific test. Made two firecrackers with pretty stout herb, one with 0.1g oven decarbed and one with 0.07g ardent decarbed. Ardent hit harder, lasted longer, and didn’t stink up the place. Love it. Apparently my friends I share with do too.

My choice of obtaining the Lift was due to the number of informative articles and video demos available. Not to mention desiring your botanicals being all they were meant to be. Of course, I did my own sample testing of material used with the help of a couple associates whom tested and stated the differences between the two samples done on two different days. The two samples used was the non-decarboxylated material consumed on one day, in it’s natural state and a second sample that was “Lifted”. After the 1 1/2 hour decarb process, the Lifted sample was then heated and consumed and was discernibly fast acting! Hence being much more active than the non-carb’d sample. Another note is the immediate and helpful support I received from Jae for personally handling my expressed concern of their product. The customer service was excellent. I don’t believe there is another tool or appliance for accurate decarb’g of healthful botanicals. Everyone wanting their botanicals to be at it’s inherent potential should get this. For anyone making edibles for themselves, this is a no-brainer. It is efficient, and takes ALL the guess work out of decarbing. Every batch I have made has been perfect. Edibles are superior. I use it conjunction with the Magical Butter machine and it is a perfect match. If you have been on the fence about this one, you should buy one. I know the price is a bit steep, but when you consider the price of screwing up just once (like I did; insufficient decarb of some very expensive product) you will change your mind. Overall, the machine is easy and convenient to use (literally a one-button operation) and stores well in the great packaging the machine comes in. The only recommendation to the firm I would make is to extend the warranty on the machine to three years instead of just one. The reason: it is new technology and if you only use it once in a while, and it ceases to function after the warranty runs out, you may have to buy a new one. The Lyft is not inexpensive, so this would be the only criticism I have. Otherwise, it works like a charm!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

The NOVA Precision Decarboxylator is the bomb! I make a lot of cannabutter for myself. The most trickiest part of the process was always decarbing. My oven temp (as most) was not stable and you could ruin a batch of butter before you start. With the Nova you place your ground up product in the container plug in press 1 button and THAT’S IT! I’ve used every decarb technique out there with mixed results. It’s nearly impossible to control all of the variables such as fluctuating oven temps, flower moisture, and all of the science that goes into a successful decarb. Since I’ve had this little miracle worker, I’ve made the most potent tinctures, oils, and concentrates I’ve ever made. All you have to do is put your flower in whole, secure the lid, press the button and wait about 80 min for the light to indicate it is done. You will have perfectly, lightly toasted, decarbed nugs. Everyone looking to make edibles should consider this tool. You will recoup what you spend in a couple uses. It takes all of the guess work out of decarbing. Cheers!!

Properly decarbed weed has a cheerful sienna color that the Ardent decarboxylator acheives exactly each time. The color is uniform throughout. Using home methods like baking in a stove, a newbie doesn’t know the exact color and will go over or under inevitably. Even an expert can be foiled by oven miscalibration (extremely common) and hotspots. The first time I used my Ardent appliance I was shocked by the color. It was nothing like I had been getting with my old ad hoc methods. The beginner needs this because he has no clue, and the expert can set-and-forget the unit, confident of the result. I highly recommend the Ardent device to anyone needing to decarb cannabis.

My husband and I are fairly new to making our own salves and tinctures and we are always looking for ways to improve our process. I heard about this great machine developed by Ardent and thought it had to be better than the small oven we were using. It is perfect, put my herb into the machine (no need to break it up or grind) , plug it in and press the button. It stops when perfectly decarbed❤️. My only wish is that it were bigger so that I could decarb enough at time for recipe and also that there was way to ensure that I am maximizing the decarb for CBD as that is my primary focus for medical use tinctures no salves. Currently, I believe the technology of the machine is based on decarb of THC and from everything I had been reading it does take a bit more time to decarb for CBD.
